Meet Dr. Harris's Newest Patient

Meet Violet, Dr. Harris's newest patient. Violet is a black bear who has arthritis and paralysis of her back legs. Violet has a wonderful owner who has already tried conventional medicine, although this was sadly ineffective. Acupuncture can be very effective for these problems in dogs and cats, so we're hoping we can help Violet too.

Violet was a great patient during her first acupuncture treatment, distracted with plenty of peanuts and marshmallows! She has acupuncture needles in her back in this picture.
