Dr. Wedemeyer Studies Canine Rehabilitation at NCSU

In October 2013, Dr. Harris is traveling to Raleigh, NC to continue her studies in the University of Tennessee's Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) program. The week-long laboratory session will be held at the veterinary school at North Carolina State University. Following this, Dr. Harris will be nearing completion of the CCRP program, to become certified in 2014.

The University of Tennessee program is the only university-based program in canine rehabilitation, open to veterinary professionals only. The extensive course, composed of both online and hands-on, laboratory study, covers the rehabilitation of surgical patients and use of rehabilitation techniques to help patients with arthritis, weight loss and other issues. NYVAS will be closed October 18th-24th while Dr. Harris is away.

House calls are offered in New York's Orange County (Newburgh, Middletown, Beacon, Warwick, Goshen, Washingtonville, Florida, Chester, Monroe, Harriman, Tuxedo and surrounding areas).
